Oleg Sergueev chipped a shot over goalkeeper Tony Meola at 11:38 of the first half as Russia beat the United States, 1-0, in an exhibition soccer match before 13,651 at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando. The match did not count toward 1994 World Cup qualifying, in which the Russians are 2-0-0 and the Americans 1-0-2.
