SANTA CLARITA : Kevin McAdams to Become Postmaster
A new Santa Clarita postmaster will be installed Thursday at the main post office.
As postmaster, 14-year postal veteran Kevin McAdams will oversee the six stations and 285 employees in the Santa Clarita Valley region.
Among his upcoming duties will be supervising the opening of a new post office in Newhall, planned for April. The post office boxes and stamp sales will move to the new site on Lyons Avenue, while letter carriers will continue to work out of the old Newhall facility.
