Mario Lemieux, who hoped to play for the Pittsburgh Penguins this week, will have to wait because his radiation treatments for Hodgkin’s disease have been extended through March 2.
Lemieux told friends he hoped to return Saturday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning because the treatments were scheduled to end on Friday.
