North Carolina, which went 9-3 and won the Peach Bowl last season, will face USC in the Disneyland Pigskin Classic football game Aug. 29 in Anaheim Stadium, Orange County Sports Assn. Executive Director Don Andersen said.
After USC accepted an invitation several weeks ago, North Carolina was chosen once after Miami, Boston College and Texas all turned down offers. to play the Trojans.
