Two Men Hospitalized After Being Stabbed in Santa Ana
Two men were stabbed Saturday afternoon in Santa Ana by a man who fled the scene with two women, Santa Ana police said.
Jorge Cruz, 22, was stabbed a number of times in the stomach and Fidel Robles, 29, was stabbed three times in the neck, chest and left arm. Both men were taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana. Cruz was listed in serious condition and Robles was listed in critical condition. Both live in Santa Ana.
Police were unsure of a motive Saturday night and had no suspects in custody. The stabbings occurred in the 100 block of South Standard Avenue, Sgt. Dick Faust said.
