Warsaw Stay

I enjoyed the story on Warsaw (“Polish Spirit Rekindled in Indomitable Warsaw,” Jan. 31). In 1985, my wife, son and I stayed one night at the Polonia Hotel mentioned in your story. It truly was a second rate hotel. We left after the first night and crossed the street to the Hotel Forum, a very nice high rise hotel. Unless finances and accommodations are in short supply, I would not recommend a stay at the Polonia.
