Cheapest One-Game Seat for Ducks to Be $18--$7 More Than Kings

The NHL comes to Anaheim this October, but to see the Mighty Ducks play in person is going to cost some mighty bucks.

The average price of a single-game ticket at Anaheim Arena will be $31.80, and the cheapest single-game ticket in the 17,278-seat facility will be $18--$7 more than the least-expensive seat for the Kings at the Forum.

The Walt Disney Co. announced season- and single-game ticket prices Monday, choosing prices that fall somewhere between the least and most expensive in the NHL. At the low end, a general-admission seat in Winnipeg costs $9, about $7.50 in U.S. dollars. The most expensive is a front-row seat between the blue lines to watch the Kings at the Forum, $280.

The same ticket at Anaheim Arena will be $125.

Overall, the average Duck ticket price is $5.80 more than the NHL average of $26 this season, although that figure is somewhat skewed by the eight Canadian teams, whose prices are not in U.S. dollars. Also, some teams probably will increase prices for next season.

Tickets for the 5,202-seat lower level average $48.82, with seats between the face-off circles priced at $55. Upper-level seats range from $18 to $28.

Season-ticket prices include a 10% discount and will range from $656 to $5,125 for a prime seat in the front row.

Disney officials said single-game tickets will not go on sale for some time, and that those who have put their names on Disney’s list of season-ticket prospects will be contacted and need not telephone the team again.
