Roberto Clemente’s family announced its opposition to a plan to raise the sunken airplane in which the baseball Hall of Famer was killed two decades ago.

Roberto Clemente Jr., sitting alongside his mother, Vera, and brother, Luis, at a news conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico, said the discovery of his father’s remains would bring grief to the family.
