Bill Christine is as obsessed with the Kentucky Derby as Robert Hilburn is with Bob Dylan. Santa Anita is the finest track in the country, but for months Christine’s only columns on racing are those on the Kentucky Derby.

I am more interested in the lowest claiming race at Santa Anita than I am in the Kentucky Derby, so please find a turf writer who can tell us about what is going on at the local tracks. No more Triple Crown ratings. No more vague and speculative articles on the Kentucky Derby.
