Sinatra a Free Agent: Frank Sinatra is no longer under contract to Reprise Records, the Time Warner-owned label the veteran singer founded in 1961, sources confirmed. In addition, Sinatra spokesperson Susan Reynolds said that he has had “conversations” with Capitol Records, where he issued a succession of albums in the 1950s, about possible future recording projects. “He’s been talking about it for some time, and given the right concept, would like to do something,” said Reynolds. Sinatra’s last studio album, “L.A. Is My Lady,” was released on Reprise in 1984.
