Ocean View’s Ponce Pitches a Perfect Game
Kathy Ponce pitched a perfect game with seven strikeouts and also drove in a run to lead Ocean View to a 3-0 victory over Westminster Tuesday in a Sunset League softball opener at Ocean View High.
Lisa Daquisto had three hits, three runs scored and four stolen bases for the Seahawks (7-3, 1-0)). Ponce’s squeeze bunt scored Daquisto in the third .
