Firefighters found the remains of Sue E. Sanchez, 46, and Joseph Sanchez, 55, following Wednesday evening’s fire in the 7000 block of Elmo Street, said Margaret White, a spokeswoman for the coroner’s office. The causes of the deaths remained unknown pending autopsies.
The cause of the blaze, which resulted in $100,000 damage to the home and contents, also remained undetermined Thursday, said Jim Wells, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
