Strawberry Doesn’t Get Much Sympathy
Darryl Strawberry is hitting .125 in spring training. He says he “is not concerned.” One year ago he was also not hitting and said the same thing. As a 50-year Dodger fan and one who watched most spring training games last year and this, I can tell you, I am concerned, and it’s about time Dodger management got concerned.
Last year before his injury, Strawberry did nothing after spring training and there is no sign that he will do any better in 1993.
