Charlotte Kandel has been named senior vice president of worldwide publicity and promotion for Warner Bros., the Burbank-based entertainment company.

Kandel will report to Robert G. Friedman, president of worldwide theatrical advertising and publicity, and will be responsible for expanded publicity duties in worldwide markets. Kandel will also continue working on domestic publicity. She has worked at Warner since 1986.
