‘Cop’ on Top: Universal’s new release “Cop and a Half” copped the top spot at the box office over the weekend, according to early industry estimates. The twist on a buddy-cop movie, which pairs Burt Reynolds with the young Norman D. Golden II, took in $5.8 million. Disney’s “The Adventures of Huck Finn,” another new movie, tied for second place with yet another new release, Warner Bros.’ “The Crush,” at $5.1 million. In fourth, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III” from New Line with $4.6 million and, in fifth, Warner Bros.’ “Point of No Return” with $4 million. Now for some post-Oscar results: “Unforgiven,” winner of four Oscars, earned an estimated $2.7 million, up from last week’s $855,000; it tied with “The Crying Game,” down from last week’s $3.4 million, at No. 8.
