Trabuco Hills is ranked No. 1 in the county in the mid-season SCPGA coaches poll, but No. 3 Esperanza beat the Mustangs in a key tournament last week.
The Aztecs--represented by Chris Berry, Jason Hernandez, Chris Fox and Ryan Donovan--won the Tribute to Youth Tournament with a score of 255 in a best-ball format played over two days at the Citrus and Desert Princess courses in the Palm Springs area.
Trabuco Hills, which won the tournament last year, finished second with 266. Palm Springs was third (271).
