Is It Too Early to Rip Strawberry? Readers’ Opinions Are Varied
In response to the letters ripping Darryl Strawberry on April 17, the last time I checked, a baseball season consisted of 162 games. It’s pretty early to be criticizing Darryl for hitting under .200 when he has had only about 30 at-bats. Do the words early-season slump and streak hitter mean anything to these fans?
