GARDEN GROVE — Two early morning fires about four hours apart destroyed a mobile home in the 12800 block of West Street on Sunday, fire officials said.
No one was inside the mobile home during either incident and no one was injured extinguishing the blazes, fire officials said.
The cause of the fires, which destroyed the unit in Space 34 at the Del Prado Mobile Home Park, were under investigation, officials said.
The first fire was reported at about 3:19 a.m. and took about 13 minutes to control. At 7:19 a.m., another fire was reported at the same location.
The second blaze “totally burned the place down,” a Garden Grove Fire Department spokesman said.
The estimated value of the loss was not immediately known, the spokesman said.
The owner or occupant of the mobile home unit were also not known.
