GM Recalls 3,661 New Saturns: General Motors Corp.’s Saturn unit is recalling 3,661 cars from the 1993 model year to inspect and possibly replace defective brake boosters made by GM’s Delco subsidiary. Saturn spokesman Robert Tripolsky confirmed the recall, which was disclosed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in its defect investigation report for March. NHTSA said in its report that the defective boosters could cause “a total loss of brake application and an accident.” Saturn said it is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the defect, which was discovered by Delco.
