Perez, Page in Main Event Tonight

Danny Perez of Paramount and James Page of Stockton will meet in the main event of the monthly boxing program tonight at the Irvine Marriott.

Perez (14-3) has six victories by knockout. Page (8-1) has seven knockouts. Both weigh 147 pounds.

Ross Thompson (4-0) of Las Vegas meets Mario Solorio (5-5) of Los Angeles in the semi-main event between junior welterweights. The first of six bouts starts at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets--priced at $35, $32 and $25--go on sale today at 10 a.m. at the grand ballroom of the Marriott.
