Gay Rights March on Washington
Can you believe the brouhaha over the National Park Service’s estimate of the crowd participating in the gay and lesbian march on Washington? Organizers are even urging marchers to call the White House to protest the low estimate. Give us a break, not to mention the White House staffers.
Let’s just assume the park police counted only the 300,000 who matched their stereotypes of gays and lesbians and neglected the great majority of us who look and act just like anyone else.
