Nolan Ryan, who had knee surgery on April 15, hopes to return from the disabled list next weekend.
Ryan accelerated his rehabilitation program by throwing batting practice Friday. “Considering I haven’t been on the mound in over two weeks, I thought it went well,” Ryan said after his 95-pitch workout.
Ryan is scheduled to have another batting practice session Monday.
