COUNTYWIDE : County to Provide Free Immunizations
The Ventura County Public Health Department will immunize children for free during May at special public health department clinics held around the county.
The first clinic is scheduled today from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Simi Valley Multi-Service Center at 2003 Royal Ave.
Parents should check immunization records to make certain their children have had three polio inoculations, four DPT inoculations (for diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough), one inoculation against measles, mumps and rubella and one against haemophilus B meningitis, according to Dr. Larry Dodds, county health officer.
For information, call 529-2060, Ext. 5918.
