DO PHOTOS OF CLOTHES PROMOTE VIOLENCE?

Share

As educators, we look to the media to help us promote a positive self-image within our community. Editor’s note: Was every ‘50s kid with a ducktail a hood? Was every ‘60s hippie with long hair a criminal? Today, is every kid in baggy pants and an oversized T-shirt a gang member? Designers marched their versions of this rap/street/ grunge look down the runways in spring fashion shows. Expect wider polyester pants in the stores by fall.
