JOIN THE CROWD: If you’re embroiled in the debate between Huntington Beach and Santa Cruz over which is the real “Surf City,” here’s a new name in the mix: the San Clemente Historical Society has now declared south Orange County as “Surfing Capital of the World.” The society has presented such a resolution to members of the San Clemente High School surf team, which traveled to Vietnam recently in a cultural exchange.
