Countywide : Holiday Closings
Monday is Memorial Day. The following will be closed in observance of the holiday:
* All city, county, state and federal offices.
* County, state and federal courthouses.
* City and county libraries.
* Banks and savings and loans.
* Schools: No classes Monday. School offices, including those at colleges and universities, will be closed.
* Mail: No mail delivery Monday. All post offices will be closed, and mail deposited in mailboxes on that day will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.
* Trash: No trash pickup by city or county refuse workers Monday. Trash pickups will be one day late for the rest of the week. For residents of Anaheim, Brea, Garden Grove, Orange, Placentia and Yorba Linda, Monday and Tuesday collections will be made on Tuesday.
* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on a Sunday schedule Monday. Call (714) 636-7433 for specific route information.
* Parks: All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open during regular hours Monday.
