SANTA ANA, TUSTIN : 1st Street Bridge to Reopen Friday

The cities of Santa Ana and Tustin will be rejoined Friday when Caltrans reopens the 1st Street bridge over the Santa Ana Freeway.
Assemblyman Tom Umberg (D-Garden Grove) and several other public officials will attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:45 a.m.
The bridge will reopen to traffic at 1 p.m. after being closed since Dec. 10, 1991, as part of the massive freeway widening project.
