Costa Mesa’s Three D Reports Quarterly Loss of $246,000
Three D Departments Inc., the Costa Mesa owner and operator of bed and bath stores, reported a loss of $246,000, or 9 cents a share, for its latest fiscal quarter.
That compared to a loss of $210,000, or 7 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier.
Revenue for the company’s third quarter, which ended May 1, declined 6% to $9.1 million from $9.7 million. For its first three quarters, the company lost $64,000, or 2 cents a share. That contrasted with a profit of 110,000, or 4 cents a share, for the corresponding period last year. Nine-month revenue was flat at nearly $33 million.
