The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies from June 14 to 20.

Glendale

North Brand Boulevard, 500 block--Computer laser printers valued together at $7,400 were stolen from two separate businesses in the same high-rise building in thefts discovered June 14.

South Glendale Avenue, 1200 block--A man discovered that a gun valued at $169 that he had hidden in his bedroom closet was missing June 16.

Chadney Drive, 3100 block--Burglars took $1,591 and jewelry of unknown value from a private residence between 7:30 a.m. and 8:10 p.m. June 16.

North Glendale Avenue, 500 block--A thief carrying a basket filled with bottles of tanning oil valued at $500 ran from a supermarket to a waiting car at 4 p.m. June 16.

North Verdugo Road, 200 block--Thieves with a screwdriver grabbed two chains valued at $250 from a woman’s neck at 2:10 p.m. June 18.

Granada and Maple streets--After asking for directions, a thief grabbed a woman’s purse containing credit cards and $11 at 7:30 p.m. June 18.

East Colorado Street, 1100 block--Possibly using a master key, a burglar entered a motel room and stole a duffel bag containing clothing, valued at $1,500, on June 19 or 20.

Dartmouth Drive, 1400 block--Burglars forced open the French doors of a private residence and stole video and camera equipment, valued together at $1,300, between 11:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. June 20.

Alta Canada Road, 4700 block--Vandals exploded a device, destroying a mailbox at 3:30 a.m. June 18.

La Crescenta

Highridge Drive, 2900 block--A man who left medical equipment valued at $1,900 on his porch discovered it was missing on June 17.

Eagle Rock

Colorado Boulevard, 2800 block--A thief stole a briefcase containing jewelry valued at $105,600 from behind the jewelry counter of a department store between 2 and 3 p.m. June 19.

Echo Park

Fairbanks Place, 1400 block--Possibly using a shim, burglars entered a private residence and stole camera equipment, valued at $1,675, between 8 and 10:30 p.m. June 14.

Scott Avenue, 1300 block--Cash and jewelry valued together at $977 were stolen from patients at a nursing home as they slept June 16.

White Knoll Drive and Marview Avenue--As one thief grabbed a pedestrian by the neck, a second thief hit the pedestrian twice with a bat, stealing a wallet containing $115 at 8:20 p.m. June 18.

Grafton Street, 1600 block--A robber pointed a gun at a man and demanded his money and car keys, stealing $25 and escaping in the man’s car at 3:30 a.m. June 19.

Sunset Boulevard, 2200 block--A thief stole jewelry and other property, valued together at $3,040, from a store at 3:30 p.m. June 19.

Glassell Park

Fletcher Drive, 3200 block--After smashing a shipping door with a vehicle, thieves entered a garment factory and stole a sewing machine, valued at $1,000, at 4:32 a.m. June 16.

Cypress Avenue and Division Street--Thieves approached a man on foot, knocked him down and stole his car of unknown value at 1 a.m. June 17.

Scandia Way, 3900 block--Burglars smashed a rear kitchen window and stole a TV and radio, valued together at $1,275, from a private residence on June 17 or 18.

Highland Park

North Avenue 54, 800 block--An arsonist ignited materials in a school office on June 13 or 14.

York Boulevard, 4600 block--Using a key to enter a storage room, thieves stole cash and guns, valued together at $5,650, in a theft discovered June 15.

Echo Street, 6000 block--As two men were being escorted from the grounds of a halfway house, one tried to stab their escort with a steak knife at 2:05 p.m. June 15.

North Figueroa Street, 6100 block--A thief grabbed a woman’s chain, valued at $1,500, then fled at 1:10 p.m. June 17.

Los Feliz

Edgemont Street, 1700 block--After luring a man to a parking lot, two robbers with a BB gun took cash and a wallet, valued together at $160, at 2:20 a.m. June 14.

St. George Street, 3000 block--Burglars pried open a basement door to enter and ransack a private residence, stealing guns and video equipment, valued together at $3,530, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. June 14.

Prospect and Commonwealth avenues--A group of thieves punched a bicycle rider in the nose, then stole his bicycle, valued at $270, at 3:30 p.m. June 14.

Tracy Street, 3900 block--Thieves entered a high school classroom and stole business machines, valued at $150, on June 14 or 15.

North Edgemont Street, 1700 block--Burglars pried open a front door and stole jewelry and computer equipment, valued together at $3,775, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. June 15.

Hillhurst Avenue, 1900 block--After smashing a glass door with a brick, burglars entered a store and stole clothing, valued at $1,800, at 1 a.m. June 16.

Hillhurst and Ambrose avenues--Pointing a gun, a robber stole $4,000 and credit cards from a man at 1:30 p.m. June 16.

West Fountain Avenue, 4900 block--A thief came up behind a pedestrian and grabbed her purse, which contained $694, at 4 p.m. June 16.

Hollywood Boulevard, 5000 block--Thieves forced open a business, then smashed through adjacent bathrooms to enter a store and steal cash and jewelry, valued together at $4,503, on June 17 or 18.

North Vermont Avenue, 1900 block--After asking a woman for directions, a thief grabbed her purse, containing $325, and knocked her to the ground at 8:50 p.m. June 18.

Mount Washington

North Figueroa Street, 5100 block--Robbers punched a man in the face and stole his camera equipment, valued at $115, at 3:55 p.m. June 15.

Figueroa Street and Avenue 54--A thief came up behind a woman and stole jewelry, valued at $300, at 12:30 p.m. June 19.

Silver Lake

Duane Street, 2300 block--Possibly using a key, a burglar entered a private residence and stole a radio and guns, valued together at $9,800, between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. June 14.

Glendale Boulevard, 2400 block--Robbers asked for the time, then pulled a gun on a victim and took $45 at 9:25 p.m. June 14.

Glendale Boulevard, 2300 block--Robbers put a gun to a man’s back and demanded his money, stealing credit cards and $45 at 9:50 p.m. June 15.

Fountain Avenue, 4200 block--Approaching from behind, a thief grabbed a woman’s purse, which contained $170, at 11:35 a.m. June 16.

Glendale Boulevard, 2300 block--Burglars broke into a fast-food restaurant and stole cash and cigarettes, valued together at $1,800, between 2:30 and 7:30 a.m. June 19.

Sunset and Silver Lake boulevards--After one thief got involved in an argument with a man, the thief signaled four others who joined in beating the man and stealing his wallet, containing $420, at 7:40 p.m. June 19.

Los Feliz Boulevard, 4600 block--Approaching from behind, a robber put a gun to a man’s back and took $30 from his pockets at 10:45 p.m. June 19.
