THOUSAND OAKS : Gunman on Bicycle Hunted by Authorities
Investigators are searching for a gunman who fired at three men in a Thousand Oaks neighborhood about 9 p.m. Saturday before fleeing on a bicycle.
The assailant had confronted the unidentified men earlier in the evening, at Crescent Way and Hampshire Road, and later returned with a small caliber gun. The gunman fired several shots at the trio but injured no one, police said.
The man rode off on a “mountain-type” bicycle, police said. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts and had a shaved head with a “Fu Manchu” mustache, police said.
The Thousand Oaks Crime Stoppers program is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and charges against the gunman.
