Glendale : Antiques in Storage Stolen
Some antique, wood-framed mirrors and light fixtures collectively worth $25,000 were stolen from a storage building in Glendale, police said Tuesday.
Investigators suspect the burglary occurred between June 23 and Saturday at a building in the 1000 block of North Verdugo Road. The property owner, Vince Tavilian, filed a report Monday about the missing items.
According to the report, Tavilian went to the building Saturday and noticed the back-door hinge was broken. Twenty antique mirrors worth $15,000 and 15 to 18 antique light fixtures worth $10,000 were missing.
