Ventura’s Clocktower Inn on Mission Park has been sold and renamed the Ramada Inn on Mission Park.
The 49-room downtown facility was purchased by a Los Angeles investment group, according to Vickie Garner, general manager. She said no staff changes are planned.
Garner would not disclose the occupancy rate, but said that business has improved since the inn joined the worldwide Ramada chain in mid-June.
“We’re feeling the benefit of being part of their reservation system,” she said. “The recent hot weather has helped, too. Whenever it’s hot in L. A. and the Valley, our one-night and two-night stays increase.”
