ANAHEIM : Driver Injured in On-Ramp Accident
A driver whose car overturned as he swerved to avoid another car on a freeway on-ramp suffered minor injuries Tuesday.
About 12:10 p.m., Nathan Karczynski, 19, of Anaheim was driving his Mazda Miata onto the southbound Santa Ana Freeway at Brookhurst Street when he veered to avoid rear-ending a Ford Aerostar van in front of him, California Highway Patrol Sgt. Roman Vondriska said.
Karczynski’s car caught the van’s fender and flipped over. He was treated for minor injuries at Martin Luther Hospital in Anaheim and released, hospital officials said.
The van driver was not hospitalized.
The crash is under investigation, Vondriska said. No one has been cited.
