LA PALMA : City Hall Will Be Closed on Fridays
In a trial, one-year program, officials will close City Hall every Friday, beginning in August.
The city is instituting the pilot program in an effort to comply with county and regional air quality regulations, which call for large employers to reduce the number of vehicle trips of its employees.
“We are trying to do our part to improve air quality,” said Brigitte Charles, assistant to the city manager.
New City Hall hours will be: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
