Santa Monica : Exhibit on Black Airmen
An exhibit of memorabilia from the Tuskegee Airmen, the World War II flying unit composed entirely of African-Americans, will be dedicated at Santa Monica’s Museum of Flying on Wednesday in observance of the 50th anniversary of the group’s first combat mission.
The ceremony will be at 11 a.m. at the museum, 2772 Donald Douglas Loop North, which is at the end of 28th Street south of Ocean Park Boulevard. Admission to the museum is $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and $2 for children.
