Share

The state Attorney General’s Office is asking for the suspension of the medical license of Upland psychiatrist Dr. Kenneth R. Jones for alleged gross negligence, incompetence, sexual misconduct and other violations of state codes. Jones treated several patients from the east San Gabriel Valley.

According to the request, Jones had sex with patients, advised one patient to pay for a male prostitute and improperly prescribed drugs, such as Valium. The request was filed July 22 with the state Office of Administrative Hearings in San Diego. An Aug. 17 hearing on the request is scheduled before an administrative law judge. The request is a preliminary step toward possible license revocation or suspension by the Medical Board of California.
