ORANGE : Volunteers Sought to Help at City Hall
- Share via
Because of hard financial times, the city is urging residents to donate a few hours of their time each week to work on special projects.
Individual interests and skills will be matched to the needs of the city, said City Manager Ron Thompson. Volunteers will also undergo a brief orientation to become acquainted with their tasks.
The most critical need is for volunteers to work directly with the mayor, City Council and city manager to help respond to citizens’ questions.
“I would hope that residents care enough to get involved in their city,” Thompson said.
