*Harold A. Ellis Jr. and J. Thomas Talbot have been elected to the board of directors of Bolsa Chica Co., a Newport Beach real estate development company. Ellis is managing partner of Ellis Partners Inc., a real estate management and consulting firm based in San Francisco, and former chairman and chief executive of Grubb & Ellis Co., a diversified real estate services company. Talbot is owner of Talbot Co., an investment and asset management company based in Newport Beach. The new directors fill two of three vacancies created by the recent resignations of Bertram R. Firestone, Gerald J. Lewis and Albert E. Rising Jr. The third seat will not be filled. Don Koll, chairman of the company since March, said that the recent changes in the company’s board of directors complete a transition that began in March.
