New Assistant Student Director at Occidental
Don R. Simmons of Los Feliz is the new assistant director of student activities for the Volunteer Programs Center at Occidental College in Eagle Rock.
Formerly assistant professor of business administration at Biola University and director of its nonprofit and philanthropic studies programs, Simmons holds a master’s degree in public administration in nonprofit organizational management from the University of San Francisco.
Simmons is also a board member of the Volunteer Center of Greater Orange County, the Southern Area FosterCare Effort, and a volunteer builder for Habitat for Humanity.
