SIGHTING: Lawyer-banker Robert A. Altman, cleared of New York state charges in the Bank of Credit & Commerce International scandal, was greeted like a returning hero when he made his first post-acquittal appearance at Duke Zeibert’s, a posh watering hole favored by prominent lawyers and lobbyists. . . . Duke gave Altman a bear hug, after which half a dozen defense attorneys traipsed over to repeat the gesture, pounding him on the back and saying: “Great victory, Bob. Great victory.”
