The FBI is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the arrest of Mir Aimal Kansi, the Pakistani fugitive wanted in the January slaying of two people outside CIA headquarters, the State Department said Monday.

The FBI also has prepared a reward poster for international distribution.

The State Department, which is cooperating with the FBI in the case, said Kansi is believed to be in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, or Iraq.

He was a temporary resident of the United States when, investigators said, he killed two people and permanently injured three others outside the CIA headquarters in nearby Langley, Va.
