Misogynist Mine: Comedian Andrew Dice Clay is about to enter the growing fold of celebrity designers (see previous item), those people who put their names on products with some tie-in to their public persona. Dice will appear Monday night at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, not to bury but to praise his workout wear, called Dice Muscle. At a party for young, hip menswear buyers, Clay will do a soft sell of the line. To our delight, the Diceman practiced his pitch this week on our very own answering machine:

“Debra, you there? It’s Andrew Dice Clay. I heard you wanted a quote. Dice Muscle is workout wear for . . . the person that likes to work out and has an attitude about it. It’s big, it’s bulky and it’s fun clothing. And it’s 15- to 17-ounce cotton! I love it! You here? I hear ya. Take care.”
