Pomona : Camp for AIDS Patients
More than 100 people from 50 families are signed up for Foothill AIDS Project’s first Labor Day weekend camp for people affected by the AIDS virus.
The camp, believed to be the first of its kind in the area, is scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Camp Mariastella in Wrightwood. Called “The Family Connection,” the camp will offer counseling, swimming, hiking, arts, crafts, storytelling and other activities for people with the AIDS virus and their families.
