OUTLOOK
The league title could come down to the season finale, when Western visits Valencia on Nov. 12. Look for Brennan, who passed for 1,796 yards and 17 touchdowns this past season, to have a big year. His favorite target should be Christensen, who had 41 catches for 660 yards and seven touchdowns last season. Covarrubias averaged 38.2 yards a punt last year and was seven of seven on field-goal attempts. The loss of all-league lineman Ray Gonzalez to graduation was a big blow, though.
