Moore Sparks ASICS All-Stars

Mike Moore of Los Alamitos scored 24 points to lead the Orange County ASICS All-Stars to an 86-79 victory over Riverside in the Pro Division semifinals of the National Outdoor 5-on-5 Basketball Tournament Sunday at Venice Beach.

The Orange County squad, featuring former Titan and 1984 Olympian Leon Wood, will play in today’s championship at 3:30 p.m.

In the 6-foot-3-and-under division, Greg Toocheck had 21 points to lead the Orange County team to an 89-86 victory over L.A. Magic, earning a berth in the final against Oakland at 11:30 a.m today.
