A judge today ordered actor Ron Johnson to stand trial on charges that he raped two teen-agers, including an extra on the set of “Sister Act II.”

After tearful testimony from the two girls, Municipal Judge Elva Soper found there was enough evidence to hold the 19-year-old Burbank actor over for trial on two counts of rape and one count of forcible digital penetration.

Johnson, who remains in custody on $100,000 bail, was ordered to return for a Sept. 21 arraignment in Los Angeles Superior Court.

A sometimes sobbing 16-year-old girl said she was working as an extra on the set of the Disney sequel starring Whoopi Goldberg when she met Johnson. The girl testified that she was raped about 6:30 p.m. Aug. 16 in a trailer near 9th Street and Grand Avenue.
