Who’s That Knocking at My Door? (Bravo Sunday at 8 p.m.; Tuesday at 5 and 9 p.m.; Saturday at 8:30 p.m.) is Martin Scorsese’s powerful 1968 debut feature. It stars Harvey Keitel as a rigid Italian-American tormented by his love for a liberated young woman (Zina Bethune).

Black Rainbow (Showtime Wednesday at 2:55 a.m.) features Rosanna Arquette, never better, as a young medium who develops terrifying powers of prophecy in Mike Hodges’ 1989 psychic thriller with ecological undertones. With Tom Hulce and Jason Robards.

Monte Walsh (TBS Wednesday at 9:50 p.m.) is notable for cinematographer William A. Fraker directing a poetic tribute to the cowboy in the last days before barbed wire and settlers fenced him in. A memorable 1970 teaming of Lee Marvin, as a good man who knows nothing but being a cowboy, and Jeanne Moreau, marvelously warm and tender as a frontier prostitute.

Dodsworth (AMC Thursday at noon; Friday at 8 a.m.), William Wyler’s superb 1936 film of the Sinclair Lewis novel, stars Walter Huston as a Midwestern auto tycoon on the Grand Tour of Europe with his wife (Ruth Chatterton). Europe liberates and stimulates the tycoon, wheras it leads his dutiful wife into folly. In the light of women’s liberation, the husband’s lack of forgiveness seems heavy-handed, yet only too credible.
