The Region : Tri-City Coalition Expands
The Tri-City Transportation Coalition, made up of representatives from Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena, has decided to change its name and expand its membership to include South Pasadena and La Canada Flintridge.
The board voted Sept. 9 to align itself with another regional council, the Arroyo-Verdugo Group, made up of Burbank, Glendale, La Canada Flintridge, Pasadena and South Pasadena.
In addition, the board decided to invite representatives from Eagle Rock, La Crescenta and Altadena.
Burbank Mayor George Battey was elected as the new Tri-City chair and Glendale Councilwoman Eileen Givens as vice chair.
