The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Sept. 20 and Sept. 26:

Glendale

Encinal Avenue, 3400 block--Thieves using an illegal hookup stole an unknown amount of electricity from a neighbor in a theft discovered Sept. 21.

Allen Avenue, 1200 block--After smashing a window, thieves stole computer equipment and other property, valued together at $6,173, from a residence between 8 a.m. and 3:35 p.m. Sept. 22.

Drive, 800 block--Thieves pried open a sliding glass door to steal computer equipment and other property, valued together at $1,460, between 9:10 a.m. and 3:35 p.m. Sept. 22.

West Glenoaks Boulevard, 1900 block--Thieves pried open an entrance into a business and stole cigarettes, cassette tapes and other property, valued together at $4,110, Sept. 22 or 23.

Montrose Avenue, 2900 block--An unknown amount of food was stolen from a church’s children’s center Sept. 22 or 23.

North Cedar Street, 300 block--Thieves broke into the storage room in an underground security garage to steal cleaning equipment, valued at $4,049, Sept. 22 or 23.

South Belmont Street, 100 block--Three thieves with a gun forced their way into a residence, stealing an unknown amount of goods at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 24.

North Central Avenue, 500 block--Thieves stole computer equipment valued at $4,000 from a business between Sept. 24 and 26.

Verdugo Park--An employee is suspected in the theft of $1,743 from a carnival company at 11:25 p.m. Sept. 25.

South Adams Street, 700 block--Thieves took three baskets of clothes, valued together at $1,600, that were left next to a rental truck by a woman who was moving between 10 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 26.

Atwater Village

Veselich Avenue, 4000 block--After prying open the front door of a residence, thieves stole computer and video equipment, valued together at $3,000, at 7 a.m. Sept. 23.

Petite Court, 3000 block--Thieves smashed a residence’s front window and stole cash and jewelry, valued together at $9,880, Sept. 24 or 25.

La Canada Flintridge

Pequena Lane, 1200 block--A thief approached a woman backing out of her driveway, handed her a piece of paper with an address on it, then reached over her and took her purse, with contents valued at $175, at 3:20 p.m. Sept. 20.

La Crescenta

Mountain Avenue, 2300 block--Thieves broke into a classroom and stole a VCR valued at $200 in a theft discovered Sept. 20.

Eagle Rock

Yosemite Drive and Townsend Avenue--Thieves pointed a gun in a person’s face and stole credit cards and a radio, valued at $60, at 12:05 a.m. Sept. 21.

Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4600 block--After prying open a kitchen window, thieves stole jewelry and a radio, valued together at $2,900, from a residence between 9 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Sept. 22.

Colorado Boulevard, 1600 block--A thief acting as though he had a gun entered a business and stole $220 at 8:55 p.m. Sept. 22.

Campus Road, 1700 block--A thief entered a man’s house and took $389 at 11 p.m. Sept. 23.

Echo Park

Sargent Place, 1600 block--Thieves forced open the front window of a residence and stole a TV and video equipment, valued together at $1,300, between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sept. 20.

Elysian Park Drive, 1000 block--A woman lost her purse, containing $1,090, to a thief while at Dodger Stadium between 7:30 and 10 p.m. Sept. 24.

Boulevard, 1200 block--Attacking from the rear, thieves hit a person with a screwdriver and stole cash and jewelry, valued together at $2,300, at 5:20 p.m. Sept. 25.

Alvarado Street, 1800 block--As two people got out of their car, a thief grabbed a wallet containing $245 from one of them at 9:15 p.m. Sept. 25.

Glassell Park

Blake Avenue, 1700 block--Thieves took household goods, valued together at $15,000, from a storage locker between Sept. 20 and 22.

Highland Park

North Avenue 57, 100 block--Entering through a side window, thieves stole a TV and radio, valued together at $2,740, from a residence in a theft discovered Sept. 20.

Myosotis Street, 6100 block--The front window of a residence was forced open by thieves who stole video and camera equipment, valued together at $1,300, in a theft discovered Sept. 20.

Figueroa Street, 6400 block--Thieves pried open the back of a video game machine and stole a computer chip, valued at $1,500, at 8:45 p.m. Sept. 20.

Strickland Avenue, 6100 block--Thieves with a gun stole a car from a man in a driveway at 8:55 p.m. Sept. 20.

Lewis Street, 400 block--After smashing a residence’s rear window, thieves stole video equipment and a radio, valued together at $1,340, between 9:20 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. Sept. 21.

Figueroa Street, 5800 block--A thief with a gun stole $80 from a business at 4:35 p.m. Sept. 21.

Los Feliz

Russell Avenue, 4500 block--Thieves entered a storage shed and stole tools valued at $1,000 in a theft discovered Sept. 20.

Rodney Drive, 1600 block--After first trying to enter a residence through a side window, thieves forced open a rear door, then stole jewelry and video equipment, valued together at $2,300, between noon and 10 p.m. Sept. 21.

Franklin Avenue, 4600 block--After a man testified in court, he returned home to find that a box of voodoo objects, which he took as a threat, had been left between 1:15 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. Sept. 22.

Boulevard, 4500 block--A thief took supplies valued at $2,000 from a hospital research office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sept. 22.

Hillhurst Avenue, 1900 block--Thieves entered a fast-food restaurant, ordered food, then stole $184 at gunpoint at 5:10 p.m. Sept. 23.

Santa Monica Boulevard and Virgil Avenue--A thief pointed a gun at a man and stole $185, then forced the man to drive to Eagle Rock Boulevard and Verdugo Road, where the thief took the man’s car as well at 5:25 a.m. Sept. 25.

North Normandie Avenue, 1100 block--Thieves stole cash and jewelry, valued together at $2,750, from a residence between 2 and 4 p.m. Sept. 25.

Mt. Washington

Arroyo Seco Avenue, 3500 block--Thieves stole cash and clothing, valued together at $1,860, from a residence between 9:45 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sept. 23.

West Avenue 38, 300 block--A delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint of cash and food, valued together at $80, at 9 p.m. Sept. 26.

Silver Lake

Griffith Park Boulevard and Monon Street--Three thieves with a gun stole jewelry valued at $800 from a woman at 8:15 p.m. Sept. 20.

Hyperion Avenue, 2700 block--Thieves pushed a man and pulled $490 and credit cards from his pocket at 1:20 a.m. Sept. 21.
