Verdugo Hills 18, Hollywood 7--Quarterback David Bryant connected with wide receiver Zack Tarry on touchdown passes of 11, nine and 17 yards to lead the Dons (1-3, 1-0) at Hollywood.
Bryant completed 11 of 16 passes for 138 yards, including seven consecutive completions in the second and third quarters. Tarry caught six passes for 94 yards.
The Verdugo Hills defense held Hollywood (0-4, 0-1) to minus 38 yards rushing and only 25 yards in total offense.
